Bright amber in cup, this tea medium bodied and smooth without any astringency. It has muscatel, nutty and honey notes of a treasured Second Flush Tea.
With the start of summer and warmer weather, the First Flush season has come to a close. This is the transition period between the First Flush and Second Flush. The buds become dormant, and the tea bushes produce 2 leaves without a bud. This period usually lasts for 2-3 weeks, after which, the bushes are back to harvesting 2 leaves with a bud. This is the start of the Second Flush season.
